I am a 53 yr old female with lichen sclerosis. I had a pap

Customer Question

I am a 53 yr old female with lichen sclerosis. I had a pap 17 days ago and everything came back fine. 2 days ago I began to experience burning on labia when I wiped after using the bathroom. Today I looked to see what was going on down there and noticed a cm sized black spot on labia that I know was not there before for. I know my dr would have mentioned it if it was there 17 days ago. It is flat not raised. I am freaking out. Could I have developed genital cancer in 17 days or could this be a blood blister or something else related to my lichen sclerosis?
JA: Are you keeping a personal medical record while dealing with this? Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: No and this just started 2 days ago

that black spot is from your lichen sclerosis and is not genital cancer
