If I have cirrhosis, what can I do to help heal it before

Customer Question

If I have cirrhosis, what can I do to help heal it before getting tested. I s topped drinking 4 days ago, take tumeric, dandelion supplements and stay away from salt
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking? Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: Have had a pain in right side for 3 months...went to hospital 3 times and they said no liver, kidney or pancreas problems and no gall bladder. So I continued drinking until my stool changed color to clay
JA: How long have you had the pain? What seems to make the pain better or worse?
Customer: 3 months...pain still same...mild discomfort

All 3 times I went to hospital they said my liver was fine, otherwise I would have stopped
Expert:  Dr. David replied 6 months ago.

that is good

your liver should be fine this time then.

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
But why the clay stool?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I will stop drinking no matter what, but can I reverse the damage I have caused?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Still there?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
If I have clay colored stool, I have problems with bile being secreted by liver or gall bladder. Will this reverse?
Expert:  Dr. David replied 6 months ago.

clay brown colored stools are normal.

white or ashy grey stools can be a sign of bile not getting into the small bowel.
