Customer Question

Two days ago the piece of food I was eating got stuck in my throat. I couldn't bring it up so I drank water to get it down. It's still stuck somewhere in my throat. I can breath but it hurts around my shoulder and the back of my neck.
JA: How long have you been dealing with the neck pain? Are you experiencing any numbness or tingling?
Customer: No I'm not.Last night may be how I sleep or got the chill. Cough does hurt and I'm trying not to.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: For example?

Ok. This is actually pretty concerning

These stuck pieces cause infections rapidly. Basically like having rotting food stuck in your throat.

I recommend a trip to ER

they can remove it there and give you antibiotics
