Once a torn retina has been surgically repaired, can it need repair again?

JA: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?
Customer: No allergies. I take generic Effexor, 37 mg every other day, Levothyroxine don't know mgs, but it's small, and I take Montelukasat, 10 mg. I also take Zolpidem Tartrate to sleep.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

Once its repaired surgically, it does not need to be repaired again unless and until it detaches or is torn again due to some reason.

Hope this helps.
