My daughter (40 yrs old) has been vomiting for the last 2

My daughter (40 yrs old) has been vomiting for the last 2 hours. After xmas lunch, she had a serve of Pavlova which she said didn't taste that good, about an hour she went for a swim in the bay (port Philip[) then began vomiting whilst in the water. She said she didn't feel well walking to the beach (approx. 100m.)
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: Can you advise what to do please.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: no we have just come home and she is taking no medication.
JA: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?
Customer: no medications and no allergy's

She is only able to take a couple of sips of water between bouts of vomiting, only stomach contractions during vomiting, no Diarrhea or bloating, no other medical history or medications, she is having fever chills, no dizziness.

Well as you describe,it's food poisoning/viral gastroenteritis.

So she should take OTC Emetrol.

Also take OTC Zantac.

She should hydrate herself with Gatorade.

She should eat a bland diet.

And take OTC Motrin.

If she'll not able to keep liquids down with persistent vomiting then see a doctor at emergency room for injectable anti-emetic medications and IV fluids.
