Customer Question

I accidently forgot to remove cap on fleet enema bottle and inserted without realizing that I had done so. I then fetched it by hand but in the process must have injured some tissue because then I was bleeding for more than 24 hrs (not a lot but consistently)... I am still terribly constipated and can't seem to pass any stool.

Hi MB. Do you have hemorrhoids? They are dilated blood vessels that can bleed for days after injury. Either way, it is generally safer to try to evacuate from below than by using laxatives from above the constipation. If you still have an enema, you could try again after generously lubricating the tip with vaseline and placing it slowly and carefully into the anus. Once the medicine is in there, it can take 5-10 minutes of holding before producing results.
