Hello, this is Dr. David. I am reviewing your question now and will be with you momentarily.

what is your question?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

If these are canker sores then why do I have them for weeks and at work my throat was burning and the at the end of the day I was horse and almost losing my voice?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

Are you there??

because you have bad acid reflux.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

I read that it could be crohns disease or celiac disease or something wrong with the immune system , Im worried that it's something bad and won't get better!!

your anxiety symptoms are out of control.

you need to stop smoking and eat healthier and stop binge eating and start to exercise.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

I was up today at 3am, the reason why was because I have this pain, it's on left side right under my left breast, I have had two bowel movements and last night I had drank a tall glass of milk before bed so I don't know if this is gas or what, it hurts if I cough or push and sometimes when I move certain ways. what is this? It wasn't like this last night but when I woke up its been like this!

it is most likely from gastritis from your prior history of binge eating and poor diet and acid reflux.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

The gallbladder is on the other side right ?

gall bladder is on the right side.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

So is this anything to worry about?

your anxiety can cause more stomach acid

you need to eat healthier and stop smoking decrease your stomach acid.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

it wasnt hurting last night, it woke me up at 3am and it was hurting

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

why does it hurt the most when i cough

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

i just coughed and it hurts bad right under my left breast

because your stomach is inflamed from gastritis.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

i know what to do for it long term but what should i do for it now?

you can take stomach acid reducing agents like maalox, mylanta, zantac to decrease stomach acid

and eat regular meals. don't skip meals.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

i have been gassy, i also had two bowel movements today thinking that would help but the pain is still there. What is in that spot that the pain is?

your stomach is in that spot. the organ which receives your food from your esophagus and produces stomach acid to help with digestion.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

so this is gas? Is gas or a gas pocket this painful?

it is inflammation of your stomach called gastritis which is causing the pain.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

is this worrisome?

you need to get your stomach acid under control

you need to eat healthier and take stomach acid reducing medications

and you have to start to exercise to improve your abdominal muscles.

I keep telling you these things, but you are not willing to do them.

so you continue to have acid reflux and symptoms.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

is this something to be worried about if I start to do the things you have told me to do?

you don't have to worry about it

but you have to change your habits to improve your health.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

I just sneezed and hurt so bad, i think its right up under my rib!!!

you have to calm down stomach inflammation.

you may need nexium or protonix.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

I take nexium every day, is this something else thats bad???!!@

your anxiety symptoms are out of control.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

They dont feel like they are im just worrying about this

you need to eat healthier.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
why does it hurt so bad when i cough just in that one spot? Did i break or fracture a rib in my sleep?

coughing can spasm the diaphram which is right above your stomach.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
i have been coughing today some but last night I wasnt, if I sit here i seem to be ok but it hurts bad in that one spot if i cough or sneeze

it is due to inflammation of your stomach.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
i hope this goes away!!

you need to eat healthier and regular meals and exercise for your symptoms to get better.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I hope this isnt something serious!!!

your smoking and anxiety symptoms are serious.

you need to quit smoking and start to improve your health habits.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Is this pain serious?

most likely not serious.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Thats what makes me freak out the "most likely" part!!

that is because you have an anxiety disorder.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I have had this pain all day but i have also been gassy all day too
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Im not sure it feels like a gas pain or pocket??
Customer: replied 7 months ago.

the pain is from inflammation of your stomach from something you most likely ate.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
its still there today and where its painful feels like my rib

most likely from inflammation of your stomach.

or from cold weather causing bone aches and pains.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
What if this is something bad like cancer or doesn't get better??

all of your symptoms in your past have gotten better before.

stop smoking if you are worried about cancer.

smoking will cause you to get lung cancer and other cancers.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Should i not worry about it?

I have told you not to worry about it before.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
now when i push its not that bad but when i cough, sneeze or certain ways i move it hurts, i think i pulled or strained something in my sleep

I'm glad it is getting better.

you may have pulled an abdominal muscle

it will get better.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Why do I still have this pain when I sneeze or cough?

most likely from a pulled or strained muscle there.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I have to make some drastic lifestyle changes and one starts today which is my diet, yesterday i didnt eat until around 1:00pm and it was a big meal and it was junk and then the rest of the day yesterday i had indigestion, and when i woke up this morning i was still having indigestion, its like there is food sitting in the back of my throat, i also have some nasal drip as well

you have been eating poorly like this, missing meals and binge eating like this for many years.

you have poor eating habits

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
why does it feel like there is food like sitting back there?

because you have severe indigestion and bad acid reflux and irritation from post nasal drip.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
another thing that has been going on for a week or two but I just havent mentioned it. On the right side, middle back, when I bend over or if I am just sitting here it will feel almost as though it fell asleep. What's this about?

you most likely have a herniated disk pinching a nerve in your lower back right side.
