Can a spleen rupture without being hit?

Customer Question

Can a spleen rupture without being hit?

It usually requires some trauma to rupture

But if already enlarged- say after an infection like mono, or a tumor, it may take minimal trauma to lead to a rupture-

This happens particularly if it grew big enough and large enough to make the capsule more fragile and easier to rupture
