On a healthy 23 yr old male, 5"6, 130lbs with a concave chest deformity and mild scoliosis is short of breath throughout the day. Can the following be the cause?An Endoscopy showed:
A small hiatal hernia

Sorry to hear about your problem. Erosive reactive gastropathy can be caused by several chemicals including bile (per your question), alcholol or antiinflammatory medications. It can cause some shortness of breath, yes, but I would want to make sure that there are no other causes first before attributing it to this endoscopy finding.
