Ok, I live in Perth Western Australia and I'm at the moment

Customer Question

ok, I live in Perth Western Australia and I'm at the moment re-assessing what my options are in my current medication regime for anxiety/depression before I discuss with GP. I have been on (Aropax) Paroxetine since 2012, currently 20mg per day. However the side effects for me has been immense weight gain, loss of motivation generally across everything I do. I'm would like get an idea of other types of medication that may help with my anxiety issues (mainly, general panic disorder & OCD). Jo.
JA: How long have you been feeling this way? Have you reached out to anyone about this yet?
Customer: probably in the last two years, generally feeling flat. Have tried to lower my current dose very slowly however, after a month my body reacts with typical panic symptoms of which I then take the full 20mg again.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: My GP is current with my medical history and mental health. Was just wondering if there was any other medication that I could discuss with her in depth.
