going into the penis can check for cancer in the bladder which can bleed, but does not tell about the prostate gland.

sometimes abnormal blood vessels or inflammation of your bladder can cause bleeding which can be cauterized safely through a cystoscopy procedure through the penis.

this is a safe procedure.

a urology doctor does this procedure.

but you need a blood test called PSA and a prostate finger exam and possibly a prostate biopsy of tissue from your prostate gland to tell if you have prostate cancer or not.
