Hello, this is Dr. David. I am reviewing your question now and will be with you momentarily.

Expert:  Dr. David replied 11 months ago.

how old are you?

is it painful to urinate?

have you been checked for a urinary tract infection?

have you been drinking plenty of water?

you are a woman. so you shouldn't have a blockage of your urine from a prostate gland.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I'm 26, have no infection have been drinking plenty of water today
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
It's painful but only cuz I can't urinate
Expert:  Dr. David replied 11 months ago.

how long have you had interstitial cystitis.

this inflammation of the bladder can cause your urine not to come out

you may need to have a foley catheter or a red rubber straight cath to help get the urine out.

have you done a self cath before?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
No I have not done a cath myself and I've had it for 8 years
Expert:  Dr. David replied 11 months ago.

you should go back to the ER for a catheter to empty your bladder

and you need to see if you need to do self catheterization if you can't urinate.

I have had a pain with bad interstitial cystitis who was in a wheelchair

I started her on medial marijuana for pain and help her pain substantially

and got her out of her wheel chair.

you should talk to your doctor about that option for you

if you live in a state with legal medical marijuana
