JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?

JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: No, I've been seeing her for at least 5 yrs. I am taking meloxicam for plantar fasciitis and she d/c that.

TSH level of 18 does mean hypothyroidism.

you need to see a doctor and be started on thyroid hormone like levothyroxine to help bring up your thyroid hormone levels which can lower your TSH levels down into normal range of between 0.3 and 3.0
