Dear customer,

Thanks for your question.

There are many prescription medications such as aspirin or even blood-thinning medications which may be beneficial if after investigations your doctor diagnoses that you may be suffering from a medical condition that affects how your blood clots. So please consult your doctor if you indeed have evidence for the poor blood circulation or any risk factors. Besides this what is really helpful is moving your legs often during long plane trips, car trips, and other situations where for long periods you may be sitting or lying down. Losing weight and quitting smoking if overweight or smoking is beneficial. Also what is wonderful is that besides the numerous benefits of exercise it also lowers your risk of blood clots. You need to ask your doctor whether wearing compression stockings to help prevent blood clots in the legs is recommended for you. Regarding vitamin or any other supplement if you are eating a well balanced diet consisting of green leafy vegetables, fruits, and fish then there is no need for additional supplementation. You may however ask your doctor whether you may supplement fish oil since fish oil contains omega-3 fatty acids and slows the development of plaque and blood clots.

Take care.
