Hospitals often times will provide rides home to patients that don't have them

have you inquired about this?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
No, I can drive, but one hospital a few years back wouldn't let me go unless someone signed me out, the place I am thinking of is closer to home, how do I ask about that and who? (Place is literally down the street from house)
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 10 months ago.

You would ask the social worker in the ER.

They will generally call a cab for you

Do you have medicaid?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Do I call now to make sure? I am planning on being in tomorrow, An no Medicaid
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 10 months ago.

Yes, I would call and make sure

ask for the social worker

Tell them you are thinking of coming in but worried about a ride home

let me know if you have other questions.

One last question-I live at home, been staying in hotels while having this issue-I pulled the sick card once for withdrawals and parents will be home tomorrow so if I'm really out of it what do I say to not make it seem wierd?
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 10 months ago.

You could say you had an infection

pneumonia or flu

can cause mental status changes
