Customer Question

I have been feeling sick for the past 5 days. Starting from mon, until today, friday. I experience some chilling cold on sunday night and wore a jacket to sleep. But i didnt have a fever the next day. On tuesday, i started to lose my appetite. On wednesday until now i felt nausea but have never vomited. I do feel on and off a change in body temperature and has taken my temperature (under arm) but all the readings were below 37 degree. However i do feel some heat in my body but i know its not till the extend of having a high fever. The body always get warmer when it comes t the evening 5pm plus. Why is that so? And why am i experiencing all these?

Sounds most likely to be a viral infection.

Viral infections can take up to two weeks to fully recover.

Meanwhile I would recommend using OTC medications like paracetamol or ibuprofen to help with your symptoms.

You can even use both these pills three to four times a day.

Your symptoms should improve in the next three to five days.

But why do my body always feel warmer when it comes to the evening?I can still take paraceptamol even if the thermometer doesnt show that i have a fever?
Expert:  Dr. SH replied 9 months ago.

Yes you can even take paracetamol even if the thermometer does not show anything as it will help with the chills and will help with the warm feeling that you are having. Ibuprofen is preferably considering your symptoms as far as my experience is concerned.
