herpes type 1 virus is very common in 98% of all people in the USA

it is a very common virus to cause cold sores and fever blisters in the mouth.

have you had a cold sore before?

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
I have not had any cold sores. So when I am told that I am not active or contagious what does that mean.
Did u get a chance to look at my test results.
Expert:  Dr. David replied 12 months ago.

yes, I have looks at your blood tests.

IgG to HSV1 virus means you have teh virus in your body, but it is dormant and quiet

it is suppressed by your immune system and only comes out and causes cold sores and fever blisters as you get older if you don't get enough sleep or have a poor immune system.
