Customer Question

I am a care giver for a 80 year old senior man. He has been very active all his life considering his diabetes which is "brittle" according to his doctor. Recently he has had a couple of bathroom emergencies. Is this something we should see his doctor about?

what do you mean by bathroom emergencies?

not able to control is urine or stool ?

diabetes can damage nerves which can cause the bladder not to function properly

and can cause loss of strength to the anal sphincter muscles

yes, he should see a doctor about this

and get his bladder and rectum checked.
