Short of breath and lump in throat. What could it be?

Customer Question

I have been short of breath from a week and have felt like I have a lump in my throat. It comes and goes but not ever for very long. I do suffer from anxiety so I know that is a factor and also I do have seasonal allergies but I’ve never felt like this before. I can’t seem to isolate what makes it better or worse.

Thank you for this reply

It seems to me like the allergies are playing a large role

And you could be developing asthma with them

Is this what you suspected?

Would that explain the lump in the throat?Should I make an appointment with my allergist then?
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 11 months ago.
it would. I would see the allergist. I don't suspect anything insidious here like cancer. I'm sure your anxiety immediately went to that. But this is typical of asthma/allergies
