Legs feel tingly and heavy. What could it be?

Customer Question

My legs feel tingly and heavy. With every step I take, I can feel it go through my back to my chest. No swelling. I have felt like this for the last 2 days. I thought I might be getting the flu but have had no flue symptoms.

I would strongly recommend that you be seen by your GP or preferably go to the hospital emergency and be examined. These symptoms can represent Guillain Barre Syndrome which is a condition which usually starts with tingling and weakness in the legs and then progresses upward.
It could be a viral infection causing your symptoms. But I would definitely recommend that you be seen for this ASAP to be on the safe side.
