I have one or two episodes of diarrhoea every 4/5 weeks. No pain just wind. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis a few years ago. Should I be worried?

Diverticulitis is a condition where the diverticula formed in the colon ay rupture and cause infection

That is the reason for diarrhea

Antibiotics at the right time will

Only if the condition is severe, surgery will be needed

Otherwise when there is an attack, eat less fibre diet and prefer liquid diet, you will be normal

Get a colonoscopy done ear once to ruleout cancer
