Ischemic colitis is not common in adults.

The incidence is 4 to 44 cases in 100,000 patients.

It is more common [nearer the 44] in adults over 65.

So this is more of a concern 65 on . although not common.

It is associated with other conditions [such as other blood vessel problems]. I am a double board certified doctor.
