Customer Question

I sliced an uncut watermelon and noticed the melon flesh was a lighter color than
usual and I thought it probably was not fully ripe. As I was eating the slice of melon
a large dark worm began to crawl out. I don't know if I ingested any of the worm or
not. Is it cause for concern or is there anything I should do?

sounds like you got a bad watermelon.

you most likely checked your piece and there was no worm.

best to throw out the watermelon.

it doesn't sound like you ate any of the worm.

you don't have to worry.
