I've had at least about 7-10 episodes of chest pain relieved

Customer Question

I've had at least about 7-10 episodes of chest pain relieved by 2-6 baby aspirin. My GP wants me to undergo a stress test. I am afraid of having what I think has been another heart attack. I never go over 140 bpm and I'm 60. Yesterday walking with a polar heart monitor I felt uncomfortable while trying to get up to 140.
When this first started I had a normal EKG. I think I'd like another approach that would show if there is damage. Like repeat the EKG or do some other tests, like a halter monitor or something.
