Customer Question

My husband has pale stools, three days. Belching, gas. Tired. He has diabetes, type 2. Takes Levemir, Humalog, Crestor, Carvedilol, CoQ10. He has had pain in his back the last few days mostly over the lower ribs and right side. Sometimes on the left, too. Our diet has been junky last few weeks, we try to eat whole foods, vegetarian most of the time. No beef, except for a hamburger or enchiladas when traveling. Could it be liver, pancreas, or gall bladder? No fever.
JA: Have you had any recent injuries? What seems to make the pain better or worse?
Customer: Not recently. Trying to get comfortable lying down makes it worse. He gets up and sleeps in his recliner which takes the pressure off. This is puzzling because we have a Temper-pedic mattress which is so comfortable.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: He has had 4 heart attacks in 4 years. Now has 5 stents. Can the lower stents be felt or cause pain?
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Doctor about your situation and then connect you two.

It would most likely be gallbladder.

Blockage of bile causes pale stools.

His pain distribution is in the right area.

Take him for an ultrasound now.

This can be come very serious.

Don't wait any longer on an evaluation.
