Customer Question

Hi, I had a previous blood test that said that I had low ferritin at 9. I was told to take iron supplements a few times a week. Now a few months later I have had another blood test done and it showed low ferritin levels at 10, but borderline high levels of iron. Is there any way to increase my ferritin without overloading my iron levels? Any advice

Hi there ...

Thank you for the question ...

Ferritin is the storage form of iron .

Blood iron will be ultimately stored as Ferritin , so you should continue take Iron supplements , this will not only maintain Iron levels but also balance Ferritin levels without overload.

Good luck .
