Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I'm having some pain in my left lower lef. It starts at the side of the knee and runs down my leg. It's been off and on for awhile. Burns and tingles. Freaking out about dvt. No redness or swelling..
Expert:  Anthony Bray, MD replied 1 year ago.

Hello again,

It is not sounding like a DVT type symptom pattern ...no to that

Burning/ tingling sounds like a nerve impingment perhaps ...

Any injury??

Expert:  Anthony Bray, MD replied 1 year ago.

A DVT would more likely have pain in calf / swelling -- often redness

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I've had lots of issues with this leg before... I've had lots of ultrasounds on it before. And like I said it's like the outer portion of the left side. Not even the back of it.. I used to have a huge phobia of them. But it's not redown or swollen or anything

Hello again,

It does not sound like you have a DVT ...

It seems that you have a recurring problem with the leg and you may benefit to seek further evaluation by an orthopedic specialist ( or neurologist ) I think not a worry about a blood clot however

I hope that this is helpful for you

Ok thank know you! If it was a blood clot it would likely be swollen by now? I don't want to go to the emergency room for a problem I've had before. My mind just makes that huge jump lol... I would be in a lot of pain right if I had one?
Expert:  Anthony Bray, MD replied 1 year ago.

Hello again,

Yes it sounds that you have a recurring pain issue of the leg but not a clot problem... Fear of clot but your history does NOT suggest a DVT...

Nothing in your history seems to fit / had pain before with negative work up/ No swelling / pain not so much of calf > ache and hurts to lift foot upward

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I've had this pain before with negative workups. So just trying to convince myself I am okay and its not a clot.
Expert:  Anthony Bray, MD replied 1 year ago.

Hello again,

Yes ...you are OK -- not a clot ...

Similar to before !

I hope that this is helpful for you!

Best regards!
