Customer Question

Diabetic question. My normal blood sugars readings in the am are 110 to 120. My last A1C was 6.0. I have a very bad sinus infection and the Clinic doctor put me on 20 mg of Prednisone twice a day plus an antibiotic. This started on Sunday and today is Tuesday afternoon. My morning reading today was 259. My after noon reading was just 398.I need some help.I am currently taking Inkovana 100mg and 10mg Glimperide and 1.2 mg daily of Victoza.I am NOT Bon Insulin and have been under control for 15 years. I am 65 years old.

Thanks for this question

I would jack up your victoza to 1.8 for the time you are on the prednisone

that should get your numbers down
