I called my doctor's office prescription refill which I take

Customer Question

I called my doctor's office for a prescription refill for oxycodone which I take 3 5mg tabs per day and have never taken more than prescribed for 6 years. My prescription was delayed due to the doctor having the same name as me. I had never heard of this before and was wondering if the law had changed concerning this. Because of this, my script was 2 days past refill date which caused me a lot of discomfort.

Thanks for this question Jeff

They probably thought the doctor was giving it to himself and that caused the delay

I have heard of this.
