About once a month I have strong pains in my upper stomach

about once a month I have strong pains in my upper stomach and will sleep most of the weekend. I have been scoped through my mouth to the stomach and nothing was wrong.. Had stress test and heart is fine. I do have sleep apnea with no treatment. It takes a while for me to fall asleep due to the pain. When I first wake up the pain is gone but comes back after being up a few minutes. Any suggestions?

where is your pain? upper right abdomen or upper left abdomen?

have you had an ultrasound scan to check your gall bladder?

or a HIDA scan to check your gall bladder function

you need blood test to check amylase and lipase to check your pancreas for inflammation.

and test to check for H Pylori infection in your stomach
