This is Dr. David
you need to see a GI specialist doctor or your primary care doctor
and get stool testing to check for infections like clostridium difficile infection in your bowels which can cause diarrhea.
are you having watery stool or just soft stool?
you may have an inflammatory bowel disease causing your diarrhea
you may need a colonoscopy to look inside of your colon to check for inflammation.
you may be allergic to gluten or lactose which can cause diarrhea as well.
do you have a doctor you can see who can refer you for more testing and colonoscopy of your bowels to find out the reason for your diarrhea symptoms?
flagyl is used only if you know you have a bacterial infection causing your diarrhea.
we can't give you a prescription for flagyl online.
if you take in imperically without testing, then you have no idea if you have a bacterial bowel infection and if you get better, you don't know if the flagyl helped or not
and if you don't get better, then you don't know why
it is up to you
but it is always best to test first.
a week ago, why didn't the doctors test your stools at that point at the ER?
