Thank you for your responses.

I would like to rule out the following possibilities in your case:

  1. Hypothyroidism
  2. Liver disease
  3. Kidney disease
  4. Heart disease
  5. Incompetent valves of your legs leading to your swelling.
  6. Lymphatic disease in your legs leading to incompetent valves in the lymph channels in your legs.

I would recommend that you be seen and tested to rule out these possibilities.

You will require blood tests to rule out thyroid, liver and kidney problem. You will require an echocardiogram to have a look at your heart among other tests, if required.

This session is open for any further questions that you may have.
