Customer Question

I just took Levafloxacin 250mg with a calcium tablet. The Pharmacist had told me no dairy or magnesium or and I have been careful about that. But didn't put two and two together with the calcium. Then I read the pampleht and it says DO NOT take with any product with calcium or zinc or magnesium. So now what do I do? What will happen to me?

Hello,

I understand your concern.

Calcium supplement interferes with levafloxacin absorption and effectivness.

So it's good to take them with a gap of 4-6 hours of interval.

It'll not harm you and cause any adverse effect.

Hope this helps.
