If you are trying to avoid pills, I am board certified in medicine, and in integrative medicine, where we try to avoid pills.

If you can find a good, TCM acupuncturist, a professional trained in chinese medicine and acupuncture, I have found this to have a high success rate with migraines.

I have used these folks in my practice since 2002, with good results.

There are other factors as well.

If your magnesium is below 2.5, you should be supplementing.

50% of people like you will respond, 90% of those who also have mitral valve prolapse.

A nutrient dense, anti inflammatory diet should also be followed.

OK, so you might have more questions or want to give me more information: Please use reply to expert if you have further questions. When you are ready, please click a positive rating [hopefully excellent—that’s how we are paid, per rating]. If you forgot something, come back. I am here daily.
