Customer Question

I have twin granddaughters who were born at 28 weeks on nov 24, 2015. They are doing well. One is about 9 and one half lbs and the other is just under 8 lbs. I have just learned that during their tummy time a 1 pound bag of rice is placed on their backs to "strengthen their core". Is this a standard or safe practice? They are timed for 15 minutes using the rice bag.
