Customer Question

About 10 years ago I had a hard very small bump in my leg looked at by a doctor. They said it was probably nothing more than a cyst even though it caused a lot of pain down my leg from time to time. I had had it for years so no one was concerned. I went to a surgeon who told me upon looking at it it was not a cyst. A few days later they called to say it was a benign muscle tumor. I don't remember what it was called but I feel like I have another exactly the same on my bikini line but again a doctor said it's probably just a cyst. 1) what kind of tumors are these? 2) are they cause for concern? 3) what causes this?

I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

You are probably dealing with myoma or fibroma both are benign and seen in muscles.

They are usually caused by the genetic reasons.

Not transmitted to your kids by the way.

They are not concerning.

Can be removed easily if painful.
