I have a question about breast reduction. I am starting kemo

Customer Question

Hello, I have a question about breast reduction. I am starting kemo in a week. I wear a 38dd maybe even bigger. I want to know if I would still be able to get a reduction after my kemo? They hurt so much, I have indents, rashes and my back hurts all the time.

Yes, you absolutely would be able to have a reduction after chemo

This is Dr. David

your rashes under your breast could be due to fungal infections under your breast if your breast are large.

you might need antifungals and creams and powders under your breast to fight the fungal infection.

I am a cancer doctor.

why are you getting chemotherapy? did you have a breast cancer?

if you had breast cancer and had breast lumpectomy surgery, your insurance will cover plastic surgery on the breast you had cancer in

if you had breast cancer, you might be able to find a plastic surgeon who would perform plastic surgery breast reduction on both of your breast under insurance.

let me know if you have other questions.
