Ringworm is a circular rash.

Itching alone can be from many problems, from allergy to diabetes.

You need an exam.

I would be glad to look at a picture if you attach it here.

General fungal infection is the most likely cause.....and chlortrimazole is often used.

Do NOT use steroid cream in this area.

This is Dr. David

ringworm is a type of skin fungal infection.

fungus like to grow in areas of moist, dark, and warm like around the testicles

skin fungal infections often will cause itchiness.

if you have excessive moisture in the testicle area, adding a cream sometimes can add more moisture

using a prescription antifungal powder like Nystatin powder or spray can help dry the skin there and fight fungal infection.

the most common type of scrotal fungal infection is often called jockitch or Tinea cruris
