I took a double dose of antibiotics for a sinus infection.

Customer Question

Hi, I took a double dose of antibiotics for a sinus infection. After about a week off of them I became extreamly nausea and went to the Dr. Was told I have thrush and given oral nystatin for 7 day. I am still having the acute nausea and some heartburn. I don't have a fever and I'm not throwing up. Will this go away and how long will it last iit makes me feel extreamly ill. Thank you

Yes they should subside over time gradually.

Antibiotics eliminate the intestinal flora and that is the problem here.

You can start taking a probiotic daily to restore intestinal flora.
