One day prep may not be sufficient for everyone.
Since you had a poor prep last time, your nurse suggested 2 day prep for better cleansing of the colon.
Now, you can modify the preparation.
If you feel weak, you can have light meals like rice, bananas, crackers, soup, white toast for example on first day of preparation.
You can also drink clear vitamin water for vitmains and mineral supplementation to prevent weakness as well.
So it should be ok with 2 day prep with little tweaks.
