Customer: ever since i started taking lisinopril my blood pressure has been 118/90 but my sex drive is minimal and i was wondering if the med is having that effect on me.

Hi, Thanks for your question. I'm Dr. Hasan and I'll try to help you. I am sorry to hear about your problem. I am going to address your primary concern but later you can ask anything you want. No you shouldn't be taking Lisinopril. From your description it is obvious that you have developed ED as a side effect of Lisinopril, so your next step should be to see your doctor to get this drug changed. Taking Lisinopril will make ED worse in the long run. Leaving Lisinopril might help you recover from ED. There are many other drugs which can be used for high blood pressure. I hope this makes you clear about what to do now :) I wish you good luck and that you get well soon. My goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have received anything less, please reply back as I am happy to address follow-up questions. Kindly rate me when you are done. You can come back here to ask anything even after you have rated the answer. I will be glad to help you always. Regards
