Hi there,

This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.

I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

These symptoms can be due to the ulnar nerve entrapment at the elbow level.

Pinky finger supplied by ulnar nerve which hooks around the elbow joint.

Hence putting pressure on the joint can cause these symptoms.

Not a serious condition.

But you should avoid pressures on the joint.

You can use elbow splint at night to rest the nerve.

Taking vitamin B12, calcium and vitamin D, magnesium supplements daily should help with recovery.

Best wishes,

It was my pleasure to help you today.

This is Dr. David

you need to see a doctor to get a neurological examination

it can be hard to tell yourself sometimes if you are having real weakness or just normal strengthen since your left arm is usually weaker than your right arm.

it sounds like your weakness doesn't last long.

sometimes benign fasciculations can cause twitching of muscles and fingers if you are stressed, or anxious or tired or if your muscles are strained.

do you have a history of excessive anxiety?

what medications are you taking?
