anal fissures can be painful when you have bowel movements.

severe constipation can cause bleeding from hemorrhoid veins in the anus and rectum area.

if you are having several bowel movements a day, this can cause some blood.

usually hemorrhoids can cause some red and blood on the tissues when you wipe after bowel movements.

you need a doctors finger rectal exam to check for anal fissures

have you been having constipation or large hard stools?

We can not diagnose this on line or replace a doctors visit.

You have had bleeding for some time without a diagnosis.

A hemorrhnoid or fissue would tend to be bright red blood, and not usually mixed with the stool.

Often just on the toilet paper.

If this is mixed into the stool, dark, or black, there is a deeper issue.

In any case, you can not have someone decide what this is without exam, and at least a short scope to view the lesion.

I am sorry we were interrupted.

I was the first expert to help you.

that is good your bleeding is not that bad.

the most common cause of bleeding after bowel movements or blood on the tissues when you wipe at your age is from hemorrhoid bleeding.

anal fissures would be rare for your age and would need a finger doctor's exam of your anus and rectum to feel for anal fissures.

anal fissures would also be very painful with bowel movements.
