Customer Question

I've had tenderness above my right breast closer to the middle of my chest for 3 plus months. I've had chest X-ray and heart work up and mammogram. All fine. I have breast implants. But the pain is not in that area. Otherwise very healthy. Considered it to be muscle strain. But it never goes away.

chest xrays don't show very much.

you should get a chest CT scan and a spine MRI scan to look for pinched nerves which can cause pain.

you could have inflammation of a rib there

or chronic inflammation of muscle there like a myositis inflammation of muscles.

a chest CT scan can look more detailed in the lungs to check for pleural inflammation of the lining of the lungs which can be missed on chest xray.

it doesn't sound like you have had a chest CT scan or MRI scan yet.
