Hi there,

This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.

I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

This can be a skin infection appearing as skin pimple.

May be related to the ruptured polyp or cyst --spread of infection.

However you are not having any fever which is reassuring suggesting at least not serious infection.

You can try over the counter Bacitracin ointment over the pimple.

But do see your doctor by tomorrow or go to urgent care for oral antibiotic course for proper treatment of infection.

Best wishes,

It was my pleasure to help you today.

why did you have surgery on your breast in may?

it should a sign of infection

it could be a bacterial or fungal infection under the breast

under the breast if there is moisture is a common site of skin fungal infections which can cause itchy rashes under the breast.

if you had prior breast cancer surgery on your breast, this could be a sign of recurrence of your breast cancer.

you might need a biopsy of the area if it doesn't get better.

do you have a doctor you can see ASAP?
