Microalbumin 531.6 mg/L / Creatnine 164.0 mg/dL -- should I rush my husband to the ER? His doctor took blood yesterday and I saw the results online. The doctor will not call me back.

No, this is not an emergency

Most likely he is diabetic.

He is not in kidney failure

Is he diabetic?

he is diabetic.
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 1 year ago.

Okay so he has some damage to the kidneys from diabetes. He needs to be on a med called an ACE inhibitor or ARB. This will help reverse the kidney damage

It is minimal damage now though and not an emergency
