Hi there,

This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.

I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

Yes you should.

Gabapentin, diazepam, and codydramol can all cause excessive sleepiness and drowsiness.

Can even affect breathing as well.

Alcohol can potentiate their effects manifold.

Hence, this is considered a dangerous combination.

Hence, it is better to avoid alcohol.

There should be at least 2-3 hours interval between these 3 medications to avoid excessive drowsiness etc.

Best wishes,

It was my pleasure to help you today.
