Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

I am sorry to hear about your sufferings.

Hip pain is most commonly caused by the osteoarthritis or wear and tear damage to the joint over time.

Nerve related pain also can refer to hip from the lower spine as another possibility.

Medications like Tramadol or gabapentin should be prescribed by your doctor meanwhile.

This can be combined with anti inflammatory medication Naproxen 500 mg twice daily for adequate pain control.

Tramadol dose should 50 mg every 8 hours.

Narcotic pain medication also can be used like oxycodone 5 mg every 8 hours as needed.

These medications require prescription and have to be prescribed by locally licensed doctor in your state by law.

You should discuss with your doctor about these options.

Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
