Customer Question

Hi Dr Thomas.
Thank you for your time. I have been experiencing intermittent electric shock type pain, lateral aspect of right knee for over 12 months. I have sharp pain in T6 region and general aches upper and lower back, sometimes the pain makes me feel sick. I was recently treated by a physio due to lack of strength, mobility in left shoulder causing sharp shooting pains, numbness and pins and needles down my left arm. The pain also radiates up my neck. Physio said my sternoclydomastoid muscle was in spasm.
Im a 37yr old district nurse, My quality of life is sometimes quite severely affected. Do you think all these symptoms are connected?

Thanks for requesting me.

I think you need an MRI of the spine.

This can be from degenerative disc disease.

This can occur at multiple levels, causing pain in various locations.
