Hi there,

The bump is due to the inflammation of the superficial scalp layers.

Does not suggest any deeper injury.

You have been able to work normally and played bowling without much problem.

Little bit of headache is expected from the injury.

There is no sign of any intracranial bleed.

If you develop any sudden worsening of headache especially with bending, then you can get it checked by your doctor or urgent care.

In most cases, no further worsening is expected from this type of injury.

You should recover in next few days.

Best wishes,

It was my pleasure to help you today.
